Overview

Scheduled Email Reports automatically send analytics summaries to your inbox on a weekly or monthly schedule. Stay informed about your site’s performance without logging into WordPress. This is a Pro feature.

Feature Details

Category Reporting
Type Automated Reports
Plan Pro
Configurable Settings Yes

Prerequisites

  • Page Visit Counter Analytics Pro must be installed and activated.
  • A valid Pro license key must be configured.
  • WordPress must be able to send emails (SMTP recommended).

How to Configure

  1. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Analytics > Reports from the left sidebar menu.
  3. Enter one or more recipient email addresses.
  4. Choose the report frequency: Weekly or Monthly.
  5. Select which report sections to include.
  6. Save settings. Reports will be sent automatically on schedule.

How It Works

Once configured, the plugin uses WordPress cron to automatically generate and email analytics reports at the selected frequency. Each report is rendered as an HTML email containing the sections you chose: traffic summary, top pages, top posts, device breakdown, country breakdown, UTM campaign data, goal conversions, and custom post type analytics.

You can also send a test email at any time to verify the report format and delivery. Report delivery is logged for troubleshooting, and SMTP integration is supported for reliable email delivery.

Benefits

  • Stay informed without logging into WordPress every day.
  • Share analytics with team members or clients automatically.
  • Customizable report sections — include only what matters to you.
  • Weekly or monthly frequency options fit different reporting needs.
  • HTML email format makes reports easy to read on any device.
  • Test email feature lets you verify setup before scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send reports to multiple email addresses?

Yes. You can configure multiple recipient email addresses in the report settings. All recipients will receive the same report.

What if my emails aren’t being delivered?

Make sure your WordPress site can send emails. We recommend using an SMTP plugin (like WP Mail SMTP) for reliable email delivery. You can use the test email feature to verify delivery.

Can I choose which data sections to include?

Yes. The report settings let you toggle individual sections including traffic summary, top pages, top posts, device breakdown, country breakdown, UTM campaigns, goal conversions, and custom post type data.
