Running an online course business on LearnDash means constantly tracking student enrollment, quiz performance, course completion rates, and learning outcomes. The LearnDash dashboard gives you access to individual student data, but it’s not designed for cohort analysis, stakeholder reporting, or team collaboration.
Google Sheets is. And with Pushrow for Google Sheets, your LearnDash student data flows into Google Sheets automatically — building a live student tracking system that your whole team can access and work with.
The Two Core Syncs for LearnDash
Pushrow supports two LearnDash data types that together give you a complete student picture:
- LearnDash Enrollments — tracks when students enroll in courses
- LearnDash Quiz Results — tracks quiz attempts, scores, and pass/fail outcomes
Set up both sync jobs with separate tabs in the same Google Sheet to build your student tracking system.
Building a Student Progress Tracker
Once your enrollment and quiz data is flowing into Google Sheets, you can build a progress tracking view:
Enrollment Tab
Columns: Student Name, Email, Course, Enrollment Date, Enrollment Source. Sort by enrollment date to see your newest students. Filter by course to see enrollment counts per program.
Quiz Results Tab
Columns: Student Name, Email, Quiz, Course, Score, Pass/Fail, Attempt Number, Date. Use conditional formatting to highlight failing scores in red for quick identification.
Student Summary Tab (Manual or Formula-Driven)
Create a summary tab that uses VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH to combine enrollment and quiz data per student. For each student, show: enrollment date, courses enrolled, quizzes completed, average score, and pass rate.
Use Cases by Course Business Type
Cohort-Based Courses
For courses with fixed start and end dates, filter your Sheets by enrollment date to isolate each cohort. Track that cohort’s quiz performance together, identify struggling students early, and report completion rates to stakeholders.
Corporate Training
HR and L&D teams often need to report course completion to management. A shared Google Sheet showing each employee’s enrollment status and quiz scores is far easier to share and present than a WordPress admin report.
Self-Paced Courses
For always-on self-paced programs, your Sheets become a rolling record of student activity. Monitor which students are active vs. stuck at a quiz, and proactively reach out to students who enrolled but haven’t progressed.
Combining With Hide Admin Bar Pro
For LearnDash sites where students access the front end, Hide Admin Bar Pro — included in the PluginStack bundle — cleanly hides the WordPress admin bar from student user roles. Pushrow quietly tracks their activity in Google Sheets in the background, while Hide Admin Bar Pro ensures a clean learning experience on the front end.
Pushrow for Google Sheets is included in the PluginStack bundle — 6 premium plugins for a one-time payment of $99 (Solo) or $179 (Agency). Lifetime updates included. No recurring fees.
